Per The Mirror, Deadpool 3 set images have revealed the returns of two villains from the X-Men movie series. The photos are quickly starting to spread on social media, generating great excitement with Marvel fans, though they do spoil what could have been a fun surprise. As revealed in the set images, Jackman's Wolverine can be seen battling Sabretooth, with Deadpool holding up the villain's severed head at one point. Also reportedly on set was an actor playing Toad, another villain featured in the original X-Men movie. It's not entirely clear which actors were playing these characters for filming and if X-Men, though X-Men franchise stars Tyler Mane appears to be back as his version of Sabretooth. It's not yet known if Ray Park is back as Toad, or if it will be a variant.

Actress Jennifer Garner responds to the rumor that she will reprise her role as Elektra Natchios in the MCU's Deadpool 3.

Other expected returns from previous Deadpool films include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, and Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus. Newcomers include Emma Corrin in an undisclosed villain role.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on July 26, 2024.
